Welcome to Chapter 1 - "Bon Séjour" (which means "have a great trip"). In this chapter, you will learn how to describe yourself and characterize yourself and others; review the verbs "avoir" (to have) and être (to be); review how to use adjectives and learn new adjectives and their forms; express likes, dislikes and preferences; ask for information; learn vocabulary related to travel; ask for and give advice; conjugate ir/iss verbs and learn new vocabulary with those verbs;ask for, make, and respond to suggestions; learn possessive determiners; relate a series of events; use the near-future verb tense, the futur proche. You will also explore a variety of things to see and do in the region around Paris and Chartres.
